Sensorpro in Brno

Brno is HQ to Kentico, a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for WCM.

This week we spent a few days with their team at the kick-off for the Kentico Connection conference tour. Denver & Melbourne are up next.

A technology hotspot with neighbors like Oracle, SAP & InfoSys, Brno is a mid-size city without the Capital baggage. It feels confident & friendly, much like Kentico. Confirmed by a quick river run after Day 1 with attendees treated to an evening in the nearby Planetarium.

Keynote by CEO Petr Palas announced the new Kentico Kontent product supported by double-act Product managers Michal Kadak & David Komarek. Kontent is the new name for Kentico Cloud.

Round-table discussions often deliver the inside track & this didn't disappoint. Petr Palas outlined the profit-funded ethos of Kentico which easily explains the single-minded execution.

"We have to embrace Headless" in the closing remarks by Mark Grannan of Forrester validate the approach.

Star of the show had to be Jacopo Panozzo of AC Milan with an honest & direct appraisal of their recent Kentico deployment -it didn't surprise many that this session won best in show.

"Aside from its core strengths (multi-lingual support, powerful workflow, headless CMS, integrations & extensions), we found a great support team that helped us from the beginning." Jacopo Panozzo, AC Milan.

As a relative newcomer to the Kentico world, we feel very much at home. It could be that Sensorpro is also Made in EU, .NET with a headless strategy. We believe our email platform with sending at scale capability & multi-language survey tool brings fresh options to Kentico partners & customers.

As an Irish HQ firm, we never travel far without bumping into the Irish network. Turns out Kentico VP of Marketing Stephen Griffin & I went to the same University!
